Summer at the MoMA Facebook Integration

Very slick and creative example of Facebook Connect integration for the (always excellent) Museum of Modern Art in the Big Apple. Probably great for engagement of out of towners and people showing people around from out-of-town and an excellent segueway into promoting and engaging form the MoMA though not sure how it runs with regular museum patrons.

Really love the way it simply asks you for dates, your facebook login, and then a few simple supplementary questions before starting on the logic below and generating you a day at the museum. And some nice personalization touches.

It’ll even add the day to your FB calendar. Nice. I imagine if you accept the day it allows you to publish to your Facebook activity stream and also invite friends to the day (or app). I could also see the easy way this could be used to inform you about future exhibitions they may be having based on the fact they pick up your interests and artists by the looks of things.

Definitely giving me ideas for my new job. Looks like Gupta Media did the external agency bit but does anyone know who did the actual work on the site. Doubt Gupta did this in-house.
