Wordpress 1.5 Strayhorn released !
15 Feb 2005
The incredible, easy to use, free, highly extensible, and open standards compliant system which runs AWWS (and a few other projects I'm dabbling with), just leapt from stable version 1.2.2 Mingus to 1.5 Strayhorn -- out today.
Run, don't walk and download it now, here. Many, many improvements, bug fixes, and increases in efficiency.
I'm completely swamped at the moment with doing consulting, interviewing, job hunting, running comms for 3 BC political campaigns (+ IT + sitting on a Federal party committee), volunteering, and trying to fit one of them thar social life thingies in there somewhere, so expect an upgrade after I've had a chance to go over the big changes and make sure that a lot of the custom stuff I've added (damn ! I just added in sidebar Recent Comments the other day !) will work post upgrade. For changes in this release, you can get a (sort of) summary at Nuclear Moose's blog.
As always, if you see any weirdness, not related to my meandering writing style and slew of mental aberrations, please let me know right away via a comment.
(nb : BTW, I think they soooo missed a great chance to have a release called "sweet pea" considering who this version is named after... :-) )
