Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day by Judith Viorst
OK, not particularly noteworthy, but a friend said I should read Alexander (Amazon, ORL) the other day after mentioning that “things were not much better in Australia” way out of context. Of course, asking why Australia had relevance led to this book disclosure.
Anyhow, bad days happen even in Australia is the moral. I, um… think. Personally, I thought the kid was a brat. I’ll stick to the Dr., myself. My friend likes it though and if nothing else it is always fun making the people at the library puzzle over my wildly eclectic taste in books. It’s particularly fun when you ask other people to pick them up for you. And one should always be on the lookout for childrens’ books that have hidden, profound wisdom.
Besides, it was a nice distraction from reading serious health care stuff after Prescription for Excellence.
